Plandids… The act of taking a planned photo so good it looks unplanned. Now If you ask me, I’ve never been a fan of plandids, I prefer to be more of an “updates” person. Now without sounding like complete douche-bag: I get that it’s a form of expression and it is one’s own choice to post what they want on their instagram, but forgive me if I think it’s a little fake. It’s a way to show off the happy lifestyle or to prove how you’ve grabbed life by the balls or something..
Whilst searching ’round about this topic, I came cross an entry on Urban Dictionary:

Putting my personal opinion to the side: Plandids have become an art wave- a way to express ourselves through images. For example, When one’s feed is drier than Katy Perry’s VMA Hosting gig, we spice it up anyway we can. Your GBFF comes over to study, but instead you make him take 666 photos of you in the pool on an inflatable, walking down the stairs or laughing whilst in your Favorite clothes.

I think it’s safe to say that plandids, the world wide phenomenon, is not going anywhere. People are happy posing hours on end to find the perfect photo. It brings them joy… and more Instagrizzle likes ;).
